Wedding rings
Your Wedding Ring is a symbol of trust, love, dedication and faith. Wearing a wedding ring clearly indicates for everyone to see that you and your spouse are fully committed to each other. In the UK the common choice is to wear your wedding and engagement ring on your left hand, this derives from an ancient Roman belief that the left hand is closer to the heart. However in some countries the wedding ring is traditionally worn on the right hand.
By some means of reasoning, the wedding band should go on your finger first because it sits closest to your head and your heart. Others believe that wearing the engagement ring closer to your heart tells the story of your courtship and marriage in its proper order. Whether or not to wear your engagement ring, and where to wear it, is an extremely personal choice and totally down to you.
